I love your site - especially the 'Ebay beware' page! I used to collect antique dolls, many years ago before prices got silly, and I can see that *some* people on Ebay really take liberties with their 'descriptions'! I love Ebay for buying certain types of things, but antique dolls, I think, would need a closer inspection, especially after seeing some of the examples

Bravo on your eBay article! I have been telling doll buyers AND sellers eBay is NOT the place to buy or sell dolls. It is a glorified flea market where everyone wants a diamond for a penny and the sellers have no idea what they are saying and just make stuff up. Your message about the problems with ebay sellers is correct. I am a frequent buyer on ebay. But, I have also come across dolls labled "antique" that aren't even close. In fact, I've recently seen the doll with the brown dress and white-blonde hair you have pictures of in your warning article.
